Agency Responsibilities

As contractors are on a contract of service with agencies, all employment responsibilities are dealt with via the umbrella company. The agency is responsible for ensuring the contractors are supported through their assignments. The agency does have a responsibility to confirm that all contractors NMW and AWR rights are confirmed with the end client. The umbrella company will require confirmation from the agency of pay rates and AWR Status.
There is no service charges to the agency. We save the agency on employment overheads and payroll admin fees.

There are a few differences compared with running your own internal payroll for contractors, all beneficial, the main differences consist of:

  • No multiple payments to contractors, you just send one bulk payment per week to us
  • No RTI reporting
  • No auto-enrolment responsibilities
  • No pension Opt-Out responsibilities
  • No payslip requirements
  • No monthly Tax and National Insurance Contribution payments to Revenue
  • All you need to do is send your schedule/remittance breakdown each week so we know what contractors are to be paid.
There is no minimum period to work with Moneytree Payroll Services. We ask for you to sign our terms of business for as long as you continue to send contractors payroll to us for payment. If the contractor or the agency no longer wishes to avail of our services then the contract between both parties terminates without any fees or costs to the agency.
You can contact us via phone or email and we can register your agency with us with a few minutes. Once registered we will set you up as a client on our system and issue all relevant information to you via email.
The contractor can register with us on line, the registration form is quick and simple to complete and they are able to upload their Right to Work documents.
